Did you use the brush or pencil tool in making this? The edges have anti-aliasing, which isn't a bad thing (except most pixel art usually doesn't have anti-aliasing). The animation is a little jerky at the end, but that doesn't distract too much from the image. The shading is nicely done, and overall it looks very good.

i made it all with the pencil tool. I resized it a little before i uploaded it, I guess photoshop did antialiasing and I just didn't notice. :]

Pretty cool. I'd suggest adding in a few more frames, as the wing movement seems a bit jerky and the tail moves a bit too fast.

Aside from being a little bit jerky from the number of frames, this is great. Did you use any references or is it just from your head? The movement is very realistic.
