Ages and ages ago, my sister told me (not asked--she's not the asking type) that she wanted black and white drawings of the Endless from Neil Gaiman's Sandman. I said 'uh-huh' and moved on with my life. A week ago, however, I was getting overwhelmed at the Publishing Institute and really needed to do something to change gears, and suddenly all I wanted to do was draw the Endless.

So I did.

And here they are.

Pose reference is [link] by --I googled pictures of German Shepherds, which is the breed of dog that Barnabas appears to be (if you can imagine, I couldn't remember what breed Barnabas looked like and COULDN'T FIND IT on the internet--no site that I looked like mentioned his apparent breed, and I even had trouble finding a picture. Shameful, I say! So I'm saying here, for the record, that he sure looks like a German Shepherd to me).
