This wonderful piece really struck me hard on the emotional aspect. I can relate to Pinkimena's state of darkness and the need to find a light to escape it, since I too suffer from depression.
Vision: You make the point across very well, showing that there is hope in the light and its stronger than the darkness we wallow in. Its very clear and it also pulls a few heartstrings.
Originality: I never seen something like this done with Pinkiemena, as far as I know. I've seen the bloody side of her but this strikes me as another side of Pinkie, one that she rarely shows. I can see the regret and hope in her eyes so nice job there!
Technique: Everything seems fine except I'm feeling the that the light seems to be faintly reflecting on Pinkie, suggesting that the light isn't as bright as you wanted it to be. But I'm not saying that you mean it like that e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a… " width="19" height="19" alt="
Impact: It pretty impacted on me. Just one glance and WHAM- it hit home! Nice work on that!
