Finally, after months if not a year or so of procrastination and brainstorming, I've finally completed this complicated Dragon! Quite sorry for the lack of activity, but I do have a life outside of DA to sort out.

Alright, explanation time.

This is what happens when Raimundo, Omi, Kimiko and Clay use the Essence of the Soul with the Sun Chi Lantern while they're in Orion Form. The combination allows the Monks to merge into a single (powerful), Elemental Energy Form, controlled by their combined wills. While in this form, the Monks are connected to their elements on a level normally achieved as Master Dragons. Other than Wind, Fire, Water (ice) and Earth, they can also generate Lightning, and gain some control over Light and Shadows.

Unfortunately, if the four Monks are not in harmony, should they bicker and quarrel amongst themselves while in this form, they will lose control of it. Only a handful of things could happen when this occurs:
1). The Dragon will cease to move.
2). It will move to do one thing, but stop and go to do something else.
3). It may lash out randomly with the elements, if the Monk's bickering becomes violent.
4). The Dragon cannot maintain it's form and thus collapses on itself, forcing the Xiaolin Monks to normal form. (or Dragon form, if the Essence didn't deactivate.)

As a result of being forced out of the fusion, the Monks are weakened and almost completely drained of chi. (Meaning that they can't perform any special moves).

When the Monks first use this form (during an epic battle over a dangerous Wu), they're in complete control of it. But later, when they try to use it for training (or another battle), they've got no control. Basically, the first time was a free shot. (Kinda like Ben 10 and 'Alien X'.)

Before I forget, there's a Yin Yang not-quite hidden in this picture. Virtual cookies to anyone who can find it! And, there's some symbolism in this picture too. The Yin Yang obviously symbolizes the balance within this Dragon.

The five dots on the Dragon's head arranged in a diamond pattern. The number 5 is a lucky number in China, associated with the elements, the senses and basic colors.

The pattern itself has meaning too. Extensive research helped me learn that the diamond shape is a Ingwuz rune and is the foundational geometric symbol of creation. Literally, this symbol means "Creation of Life." It also symbolizes the culmination of the four elements: Four sides indicating earth, fire, air, and water.

Of course, you might ask what the fifth dot represents: The Shen Gong Wu that were used to form the Dragon and help bind it together. Really, they're just half of what holds the Dragon's form; the other half is the combined wills of the Monks.
