Ahh I'd like to think im slowly improving! Here's a quick sketch of a character design for my next Digital Illustration project. I'm using the concept of "Boombox" and i really want to incorporate this character into it.Very much inspired by Urbance and Jim Mahfood.
Done in Corel Painter.

Very cool and colorful. Man, Corel is sweet, I thought this was marker at first! One thing I would suggest is using slightly different hues of pink for each of the places (hair, shirt, lips), since right now they all look like the same kind of pink. Then again, it depends what your final composition is going to be too.
