Riot is notorious for being the only group out there that basically encourages fanon ideas on Β their own characters. Canon means nothing to them because they change champion stories to support new characters, or a new change in the game. Look at Leona's lore before Diana, or Ashe's lore change for the Howling Abyss release. They act like "Big Brother" from 1984: what is the truth of today, was always the truth. You say they debunked the idea. When? Right when Jinx was released? Or when the fanon concept grew to large? How much do they inform you on and how often do they change stories, are important influences on how you should look at Riot. I truly believe they want to always keep their fans at length from the truth because it creates a need for discussion on the lack of information about their champions.

Well I mean, I always assumed vi's sister was a different champ, since in ARAM the purple side tells Vi she looks like her sister but jinx and Vi are as different as they could get..
