I cropped my earlier drawing of Reese, because that was more of a wallpaper. Plus I wanted the actual drawing to show up a little bigger in the thumbnail and there was only grey on the left anyway.Click here for the wallpaper.

This is just amazing. I was wondering, how do you make the skin so smooth? Whenever I draw, skin seems to come out blotchy and not so realistic. (I use tissues to blend.) Thanks ^^

I never put down just one layer of graphite and then blend it. I put down some graphite, then blend, then add some more, then blend again. Then add some more in places and maybe use a kneaded eraser to remove some here and there and then blend again. I keep doing it until it looks smooth. I use tissues too, but also blending sticks.

Beautifully done. At first I did think it was too contrasty but after examining it for a few minutes I actually like the extreme light and dark, it really works. Great job.
