any advice on jeans textures?
I struggle with it.

for the jeans on this, I painted all the base fabric, folds, seams and stitching first in greyscale. Then I found a good swatch of denim fabric picture, messed around a lot with the levels, and put that over the jeans in overlay mode, warping it with the warp tool to follow the form. I did this in about 6 separate chunks, depending on what was happening in that particular area. Then I erased parts and accentuated others with a rake brush (skinny lines brush) in a light color, and in some areas used the rake brush alone, removing the texture completely. Then I added color in another layer.
So I guess the key is finding a good texture and getting it to believably follow the form, altering it as need be.

What makes it even funnier is that he's got a persona who's basically him as a Jedi who carries a blue saber. I just had to fave after I saw this.

I like how a lot of your guys are blond haired & blue eyed. (Just my type!) But really, this is a wondeful piece of artwork. The anatomy is beautiful and I absolutely love how the light of the blue lightsaber shines on him (and that there is a gold light shining from behind him as well). This is visually stunning!

Quite possibly one of the most beautiful digital paintings I've seen in a long time. I love the incorporation of both warm and colour colour schemes and his anatomy is delicious. I feel my lusting for the male body again just looking at his hips *wishes her bf were here now*
