Oh, Hermione. What is there to say for our favourite teen heroina that hasn't already been told? I can only say that she is by far my favourite character in the books and one of the best developed.

I would also like to point out that on this drawing is HERMIONE GRANGER. NOT Emma Watson. That is to say that the girl I have drawn is Hermione, not the actress portraying her. JK Rowling describes Hermione as a bushy haired girl, with big front teeth [that's why her lips have to be a bit pursed] who wasn't beautiful, but could pass as pretty. Also: brunette! [not a blond airhead]

I drew her on paper first, then scanned and coloured her in Photoshop. I did her eyes and her wand digitally. Her pose gave me some trouble, but I got it right after some time.

Oh God, this, SO MUCH. I understand when someone's character look is influenced by an actor playing them, but I believe we should first-most stick to the original written "look". I am glad you liked it, I have spent most of the time on her, especially figuring out her teeth and how they would make her lips look puckered [without it looking like she's doing a duck face]
