Well, not a huge fan of the Elektra movie -- but at least it was made. A Black Widow movie will kick ass. I was unsure about Scarlett as Black Widow, but was willing to see what she'd do -- I knew she'd ace the acting, but could see pull of the action sequences. And the answer is, Hell Yeah.
I'd love to see them tee up she-hulk -- who is possibly the hardest of the marvel female heroes to do. As you need a great actress who is also quite fit. -and- tall. But I'm sure you could find someone to play her. And it's not like she needs to be a fitness or bodybuilder star in the end (though that would be nice). I suppose they could cgi her like hulk too. They might be able to make that seamless and Fantastic. And like in Avengers use the actress for Jen to model her face and do all the motion capture. (I think that's one of the reasons the Hulk was so good in the Avengers.)
Even a Jen cameo would be awesome. Or mentioning her name.
I think that might be a great thing to do in the movies, to give more dimension to the universe.

It would help from keeping the Marvel Universe from being "one-dimensional" by just using the big named characters. I think the Guardians of the Galaxy is like DC's Jonah Hex really. Nobody big, but give it a try. I could be good, too.
Marvel could hurt itself if it keeps doing the same characters over and over. I'm not much for Black Panther and not sure about Dr. Strange, but give it a try.
Jen is one of the unsung heroes in Marvel. Not one of most well known, but Stan Lee himself created her so her credentials are spoken for.
I liked Jennifer as Elektra, but the storyline and plot was not right for an Elektra movie.
I think Marvel could CGI a good She-Hulk like they did with Mark, unless they find a girl about as tall as Chris Hemsworth. Adrianne Palicki is 5'11" and pretty damn fit. She was looking Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the eyes in the last G.I. Joe movie and he's just over 6 foot.

I think Marvel has an overall pretty good handle on things. And I sure hope they get Black Panther and Dr. Strange going. To get a bit of diversity up. But that "try a movie and see how it responds" is how thye've been working. They laid out the road map that ended on the Avengers, and it started with Iron Man 1. That it was so well received meant that they just executed the plan.
And their Netflix TV deal is just a nice plan.
Ant Man and Guardians are them trying some new things to see how they work. Let's not forget Blade which I think helped get Superhero movies flowing again, and he's a marvel character almost no one knows about outside real comic book geeks.
I do think they could CGI She-Hulk -- or better -- just find someone who can carry it well. Adrianne Palicki could probably pull it off. Might make up for DC totally fubaring her attempt at Wonder Woman (If you see the Pilot, SHE was great. The writing and setup. HORRIBLE.) Seriously, someone over at DC needs kicked over Wonder Woman.
Do you know what the #4 top grossing DC Animated feature is? Give you a guess. It's a character that DC says it won't make another animated movie of because "It didn't make enough money" and they used that as an excuse to cancel Batgirl Year One. NUMBER 4. Meaning it was out grossed by One Batman, One Superman, and one JLA Movie (in which she starred too). Yes, it's Wonder Woman. GRRR. Makes me see red. Really, it should be "do we have a good story to tell" and compare it to what other stories they could tell. But obviously people WILL BUY such things, as they did.
And that's the animated side where DC just KICKS ASS. Marvel has never delivered animation to the quality of Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans, Young Justice, or -any- of the DC animated films. (Quality as a gestalt of art, voice acting, and story.) And that's not counting possibly the best animated adaption, Batman: The Animated Series (it produced Harley Quinn!) But even DC couldn't keep Young Justice going (I loved that damn show). And now they are making Teen Titans Go which is just insulting.

I never knew that stat about the Wonder Woman movie. I loved it and was always hoping for another one, but now I know why they won't. The WB execs. who make that decision need their ass kicked by someone wearing a Wonder Woman shirt!!!!
They are just biased against her being a lead character instead of keeping her as a supporting character.
I love Batman, but I'm seriously getting fed up with all these Superman/ batman themed films. They did two GL films and did well. I wish they would do more female themed movies like birds of prey, the current world's finest, or even the Gotham Sirens with Selina, Ivy, and Harley.
I love the Young Justice series and don't care for the art in the new Teen Titans cartoon.
And I thought the idea was genious about having Blade as the first Marvel film out. They didn't focus on him as a Marvel hero, but a vampire slayer of sorts. It worked.
All I saw was the clips of Adrianne filming, but never saw the whole pilot episode. If you know of the link to view, please send it to me.
yes, DC is doing well in the animated movies, but because of price and same ol' crap about everything being just Justice League, I've backed off of them and will just hit the redbox to watch them. I'll wait several months or a year till the 2-disc special edition drops in price before buying it.
I was disappointed with the last JL movie. son of batman looks promising with Talia voiced by Morrena Baccarin from Firefly.
If I knew the email contact for the execs at WB, I'd be sending a blunt and honest email about how damn stupid, and yes, sexist they are being with the biggest female icon in comics for many years.
I love Batman and Wonder Woman and always will, but if not for them and Power Girl and Huntress, I'd be strictly Marvel.

To be honest I saw the wonder woman pilot at a comic convention on a disk. I was about to buy it and then i realized that it was ALREADY pirated. So I went home and typed "wonder woman pilot torrent" into google, and I got back a nice torrent i downloaded. I don't do this often, I like to buy the things I like, otherwise they don't make money and the won't make more of them. (I just did this again, and got plenty of hits for the Pilot, so it's out there, easy to get.)
Though that doesn't seem to work with DC Animated Films. (I got the figures from a Wikipedia, but they also agree with what I've read in the press, and the #'s were sourced.)
I think the reasoning from the network (not DC) that Young Justice was canceled was "Not enough merchandising opportunities". Forget where I read that though, it was a quoted network exec though. So I don't think it's fully DC's problem. Though I'd have shopped another network at that point.
Instead Teen Titans Go! Ug. I'd work up to hate it but I just ignore it and never watch it. And it's got all the original awesome voice actors and they're just putting out drivel. IT's not even the art, it's the story and characterization!
I didn't mind the last JL movie. Wonder Woman was a bit gung ho for violence. I see her enjoying being physical, but not relishing battle. Seems to miss part of why I like Wonder Woman. I asked friends a question, Who would you rather be saved by, Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman. I said Wonder Woman. Because Batman would ensure that you were safe. That's it. He'd disappear. Superman would also make sure you are safe. Give you an inspirational quote and zoom off almost immediately. Wonder Woman, would not only make sure you are safe, she'd talk to you to make sure that you had what you needed and if you were OK, if there was something else she could do, (etc). In other words, Wonder Woman -cares-. Batman is too wrapped up in himself to care. Superman would care, but he's got too much going on, and he keeps a bit of detachment. The wonder woman in JL: War? She'd rather just be in a fight. Though if she wasn't Wonder Woman, I'd have totally ADORED her character. A gorgeous powerful woman who just kicks ass? HELL YEAH. I mean she stabs Darkseid in the eye with a sword! Sheesh.
But overall, the movie is kind of ... meh. It's got all the things that are wrong with the new DC. I go with Green Lantern's quote, almost everyone seems to be a "phenomenal douchebag".

Agreed and I was surprised with GL's language!! It didn't really bother me, but from a cartoon??
I agree with your studies of each character. I do like Batman for not wanting to be in the limelight and revel in his good deeds. He studies people and if they are OK, time to go. Wonder Woman will do whatever she can for someone because they practice and encourage peace. The Flashpoint storyline is the perfect example of what can happen if the Amazons didn't love peace so much. They are trained warriors for a purpose and it's not to start wars, but they will finish it.
I saw a movie at Target as an exclusive called "JLA classified" and it's a cartoon I'm pretty tempted to grab it for only $15, but it's only little over an hour long and that' not long enough for that price.
Thanks for the heads up on the pilot episode info. I'm of the same belief to buy a movie or song to give credit to whom deserves it.
I'm hoping the son of batman turns out great and the previews give it that appearance, but who knows, but ENOUGH of the superman/batman back & forth movie making. people will stop buying this movies if they keep it up.
No more GL's and Justice Leagues. Hell, do a Hawkman/Hawkgirl, Green Arrow/Black Canary, a Stephanie Brown Batgirl would do well, I'm wanting Marvel to bring back their animated movies back now.
