yea. if a character ain't making much of money,
they won't used her compare to other bat family wich they make more money for her,
for example; Dick Grayson a.k.a Nightwing

I think Cain outsold Nightwing for part of it's run.

Certainly Night wing was turning in some lower numbers before they put better writers/artists on the series and boosted it's sales back up to 70k, though ti's still selling less than the currrent Batgirl -- though to be fair Gordon's Batgirl is outselling Cain's by a wide margin.  She also has more advertising and a A-List writer and artist.  And a dynamite cover artist.

Both Stephanie Brown and Cassie's Batgirls were in the top 20%-25% of DC sales during their runs.  Pretty good for characters without the long history of Nightwing and some of the other Bat Family.

I just think that DC Management are idiots.

She beat her mom in a fight in her comic, and at least, is a match for her (when everyone else, is barely a fight for her, Canary being the only other person who can manage to keep up a bit).  And at the time I think she was a teenager.  And I REALLY like Black Canary.  But sorry, in a straight out martial arts battle Shiva takes her every time.  And, therefore, Cassandra would take her.

But I think that just puts Canary solidly at #3.  And you can argue if Cassandra can take Shiva or not.  There is also Richard Dragon, but it's better if he's sitting at #4.

There were a few things in Birds of Prey that pissed me off.  Trying to sell Canary as a match for Shiva was one of them -- though i loved the focus on her training and taking herself to another level so she was able to at least fight back.  THAT I bought, and it's that storyline that makes me put Canary at #3 and say "yeah she can kick Batman's ass".  The thing that REALLY pissed me off is Barda WEARING HER ARMOR having bullet holes in her.   One, Barda is going to be bulletproof (with her strength level she pretty much as to be).  And two, her armor is going repeal Earth Firearms. Just looking at that frame makes me see red (and I'm a calm guy and LOVED most of Birds of Prey and the art was gorgeous).  And in that same story are there is one of my favorite Barda scenes.  She sits down and ends up paying a battle card game with a young girl.  It's precious (and TOTALLY Barda).  But that.  Just NO WAY.  GRRR.  

But, in the end, we're agreeing on the top three. And they are ALL WOMEN.  Which makes me happy.  Though DC will invoke the rule "Batman always wins", because Batman can't be #2 at anything.  They need to get over that. Just like Superman has to be the most powerful in every category.  There is ZERO chance that Superman is any kind of race for the Flash.  It's just silly to think that he would be, and is a great injustice to the Flash and his power set.

Don't like it, I love it. Can tell either you or he did some nice research in figuring out how to pose her.

I just need to figure out what part of her would get more awtheome pictures; her showing off her Ninja training, kickboxing, or more staff poses?

We agree, 3 women are the top fighters in DC but I think third might be a toss up between Canary and Cheshire.

I vote canary. Though Chesire (ESP from young justice) should be up there.

I'd sent some refs -- but the real credit will go to Rod San as I'm not sure this is one I sent. And any event he's the one who did the work.

She was Batgirl for awhile.  Black Bat is her current name since Babs is Batgirl.
