Thanks so much for your kind words! Alas, I'm afraid I'm not very skilled with my bow, but I do think archery is a wonderful sport, and I admire anyone who has the talent and the patience it takes to master it.

Yes, I never could do much with bows and arrows.  Is that a working bow, or "more decorative than useful"?

Yes, it is a working longbow, purchased on eBay from an artisan who makes replicas of historical bows and such. I did, however, stain the bow myself, along with adding the leather grip and the decorative gold pieces.
