Description I just finished reading "The Wise Man's Fear" and got compelled to draw young Kvothe of the Many Names .

Mainly done on TegakiE (reminding me once again how big of a pain that art tool is) then slapped some texture overlays and fiddled with proportions a bit in Photoshop afterward.

I need to flex my realistic(ish) style more often.

Anyways go read the book!
I swear, Rothfuss has a mind-boggling writing talent. I can think of very, very few authors that could have written a character like Kvothe and not have him result in an insufferable Marty Stu. I've got fed and disgusted of many upon many characters that had much meager talents and feats than that guy.

But somehow Rothfuss pulled it off. He made a character that's literally of epic-scale legends and made him likable, human and true with all his failings, secrets and dirty tricks.
Mind = blown.

I tip my hat and wait eagerly for the next installment of the Kingkiller Chronicles.
