Ed and Winry, so cute. I like that this is affectionate without necessarily being romantic. There really aren't enough bases that can be used to represent a close friendship out there.

I've been working on this for several days--kinda helps with writer's block, up until I get to the shading part, since that requires some actual thought, and also it's freaking huge. I like making these high resolution, but I may have gone a little overboard on this one. (I think I figured out why, though: it's some kind of overzealous reaction to low-res bases, which I hate hate hate. It's much easier to make something smaller and have it come out looking halfway decent than it is to make it bigger and make it look like anything other than ass.)

Ed's head is a little weirdly shaped--I was kind of annoyed with not having any direction on the placement of his legs while I was doing it and maybe didn't pay as much attention as I should have. (Seriously, though, it looks like way more effort was put into drawing Winry than Ed in this, except for maybe her hands and feet which are a little bit awful.) It should be good enough, though. I mean, chances are anyone who uses it is going to be adding hair, so...
