Description
Pyrography of a pretty girl with dimples. I got the source image from Ryan Leslie's "Diamond Girl" music video.I did this work because she reminds me of someone else.

I love the fact that are very few lines in this work, mostly value variations from what I can tell. Tough to pull off with pyrography but it turned out amzingly good! Is it the type of wood you use, the buring tool or something else to achieve those almost black tones?

Thank you. Before transferring the image unto wood and burning, I edited the photo (broke it down into layers) using photoshop. As for the darkest shade used the piranha professional pyrography kit.

This is really good. I like the impressionistic effect & it almost looks like it's been drawn in the sand.
