Basic Tail - Tier 1
This tail is chubby and rounded all the way along, sort of like a beaver's tail! It's the most common type to find.
Dino Tail - Tier 1
This tail starts chubby, but tapers to a point at the tip!
Spade-Tipped Tail - Tier 2
Like the dino tail, this tail tapers toward the end, but instead of finishing in a point, there is a spade shape at the tip! These are sometimes very pointy, and sometimes more heart-shaped...
Curly Tail - Tier 2
Like a shiba inu, this tail is a tight curl toward the body! It's very cute.
Bob Tail - Tier 2
A short, cropped tail, generally like a rabbit's. They can be fluffy, or not!
Fox Tail - Tier 2
Tapered at base and tip, and thicker in the middle, much like a fox's tail is drawn in cartoons. That's really all there is to it!
Fur Tail - Tier 2
Tails made entirely out of fur that aren't short enough to class as "bob" tails are categorised as fur tails! A horse's tail would fall in this category.
Split Tail - Tier 2
A tail that splits more than halfway down the tail from the base is classed as a split tail! These tend to be split tips more than half-split. Espeon, the Pokémon, is a good example of this!
Betta Tail - Tier 3
A large, elegant, flowy tail with many ruffles that resembles the tail of a betta fish. This can resemble most types of Betta tails, except a double tail!
Fur-Tipped Tail - Tier 3
Much like a spade tip, only with fur instead of a spade! This tail type tapers out and ends in a puff of fur. Kind of like a cow tail!
No Tail - Tier 4
Tails are usually vital to an Astragon's sense of balance, so it's unusual to find an Astragon with no tail at all!
Scorpion Tail - Tier 4
A bulbous tail that ends in a "stinger", much like an actual scorpion. These are pretty rare, and some of them do in fact carry a toxin!
Mermaid Tail - Tier 4
A tail that tapers out before ending in fish-like fins, this is another very simple- but uncommon- tail type.
Elemental Tail - Tier 4
A tail made of crystal, fire, water- any kind of elemental material! They come in various shapes.
Extra-Long Tail - Exclusive
A stack-type trait with any other tail type, this is the trait that applies when the tail is longer than the body!
