Leila somewhat regrets running away from Lester when the whiplash sounds of cracking and breaking rumble across Aquatopia. And when the fire type is faced with a huge wave, she's paralysed, with her guardian/adopted father figure too far from her to help-
And that's when a stranger saves the day. Rolling her out of immediate danger, Leila's nerves for new people seem non-existent, a distance sense of familiarity lingering on the stranger, though she'd never met him before.
They all fled towards Cho, taking charge with Chilcano on his back, and Lester shared a moment with Chokichi as Noah led Leila to higher ground.
