Description My first ever collection, launched in May 8th 2009 at Stockton's Haggin Museum. 6 fully lined dresses. Inspiration is drawn from modern art, romanticism and classicism, with Greek influence.

Colors only include shades of gold and ivory. Fabrics are crepe, crepe-back satin, voile and satin.

Fusing contrasting elements to create beauty. Hard and soft (evident from the hard look of the gold polygonal tiling plates as opposed to the softness of the voile, crepe and satin); history and modernism (classic and romantic influence through drapery and the ruffles, versus the modern look of the polygon tiling (insets in sewing terms)that reoccurs throughout the garments); order and chaos (restriction, stability and permanent placement of the gold polygonal tilings opposing the freedom, motion, and wildness of the voile, satin and crepe).

NOTE: Yes...the ruffles have raw edges...>_< but I believe that it somehow adds to the dramatic effect of the look I'm going for, further emphasizing the contrasting perfection of the bodice and the bottom half's chaotic look.
