AMAZING! Excuse me but would you mind if I asked you a few questions. There is an anime expo coming to los angeles in july, and my mother not only agreed to take me, but she also requested that she would get to cosplay as Rita Repulsa. And I tend to be someone who does what you ask him to, regardless of if you mean it or not.
Question 1: what was the hardest part?
Question2: what is the easy part?
Question3: how long did it take you?
Question4: Are there any complications with wearing the costume? (Is it hot, hard to move, ETC)

I don't mind.
The hardest part was probably between the cone bra and the ridiculous collar.
The cone bra was made using some Styrofoam cones covered them in fabric and attached them to a vest base that I made. They are attached with Velcro for easy dressing.
The Collar is made out of poster board covered with fabric. It was hard to keep it standing up. As you can see in the picture its more flat laying than as 'up' as I would like it. I would still like to figure out a better way to keep the collar standing up.
There really isn't a part that was particularly easy, everything took a lot of time, a lot of trial and error.
If I had to pick an easy part it would be the sewing of the dress. That would be relatively simple.
I hand painted the gold designs on the dress, that was not really too hard but it did take a lot of time.
I worked on it several hours a day for about a month and a half - two months.
The costume for me was surprisingly comfortable to wear. I was about 5 months pregnant and I wore it all day.
