The goddess Athena looked down from Mount Olympus and she despaired. Humankind had lost its way. It needed a champion as in the days of yore to lead them to greatness and protect them from harm. Athena took up the thunderbolt of her father and hurled it to Earth. As the bolt flew Athena ordered it to find her the new Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, war, industry, justice and skill. It struck a young infant as she lay in her crib. The mystic bolt transformed young Teena into a demi- goddess . When she reached 18 her powers fully manifested and she became Teena Athena. From Athena she received a costume and staff made by the god Hephaestus and went out into the world to battle and inspire.
