This is my very first Flash animation EVER. The pronunciation is "Smiley Face," but the proper spelling is ": - )" without the spaces. (Can't spell it right on dA because it inserts that graphical smiley face.

The project was to convey a topic discussed in my Media Theory class. I chose to explore what society would be like if we relied on television and marketing in order to be as happy as we thought was possible. Meanwhile, we'd ignore all the bad things about life. Of course, if problems aren't fixed, they can only get worse...

I apologize for the audio syncing problems. Seems I can't throw this onto a webpage without the animation going a tad slower than it's supposed to.

I'm working on uploading a version with proper audio sync. I just uploaded a new one to test. Things are still wonky with it, but at least it's getting closer. Sorry.
