Ricarda and Megan in the Show Day Extravaganza !
They are competing in Stadium Jumping (Class 5)

Hannah begrudgingly let Megan ride Ricarda for the show. She had been bitching about not riding her, she continually said she could ride the mare better than anybody else there.

As they entered the ring Megan asked her for a canter. Ricarda raised her head up high and reluctantly began to canter. Megan smacked her hard behind the girth, receiving a loud snort from the mare. They flew over the first jump at an awkward angle, taking off a stride before they should have. "Come on," Megan growled, kicking her in the belly. They went throughout the course, Ricarda getting more fed up with every stride. Megan was riding her too hard--Ricarda knew her job and did it well, she didn't need to be pushed to do it.

At the last jump Megan drove her hard up to the base. Ricarda had had enough. She slammed on the brakes, sending sand flying through the arena. Megan crashed into her neck, almost flying over her head. Megan smacked her repeatedly with the crop, and Ricarda backed away from the fence.
"Ohmygod...." Hannah murmured, covering her eyes.
