Oh yes, gestures are indeed hell for me, that's a problem.

Yeah, gesturing can be rough. Practice, practice!

Thank you! Years of sucking at gesture practice is finally starting to click, getting really comfortable with drawing on a tablet has sure helped loosen me up too. Who needs paper anymore?

Looking good! Were these 60 sec poses or any other time? Either way, they are very good. Pretty clean lines too!

Thanks! No real time limit but each was probably under 2 or 3 minutes. Only the last one took longer, the hunched back and arm were difficult. The lines are still a little scratchy, some angles are hard to hit on a tablet, but it's better than I used to do so yay!

That's excellent! What resources are you using?

A lot of stuff, I use www.posemaniacs.com/for muscles and poses. Stephen Rogers Peck's "Atlas Of Human Anatomy For The Artist" for anatomy. Mark Edward Smith's "The Nude Female Figure" for more poses. I also pause anime and movies and draw gestures.
This is part of a Improvement challenge I'm following: pencilcat.tumblr.com/post/2742…

Thanks! I've always struggled with gestures and quick figures so I'm happy with the relative ease I had here. The studies are starting to pay off!
