My brother's new dog, whom I met back on the 1st when I was summoned for dogsitting duty. The meeting was interesting; he sniffed me, growled, used my hand as a chew toy, growled some more, and fell asleep using my leg as a pillow. After all that he pretty much ignored me and went about the serious business of lounging in various spots around the house. We went for a brief walk which was shortened due to rain, after which he opted to ignore his dinner and took a nap. Hey, whatever works for you, Max. I'm told that he's usually pretty active but my sister-in-law took him for a long walk prior to my arrival, which explains his laziness while I was there. He's also fat; Shih Tzu's average from 11 to 19 pounds but Max tips the scales at 21+ pounds. It shows, too; in person he kind of looks like a Vienna sausage with fur. In any event the day went well, my brother and his wife eventually returned from their outing (a Bon Jovi concert), and home I went to take my own nap.
