True, other people have done it, but they're WRONG! I'm not normally a grammar Nazi, but I had that rule drilled into me during training and it is the one thing that gets me. Like I said, other than that, I loved the strip and could find no wrong in it. *G*

Good point, but it's not the first time I heard "first annual"

Anyway, I think I thought this whole storyline up basically for Spider and JJJ to meet. Due to Spider's innate hatred of Editors and JJJ's hatred of Spiders, it's gold. I more than likely miswrote Spider here, and I apoligise to Warren Ellis for that, but I've since read more of Transmet, and in future stories, I should do better.

I'd just like to state, as someone trained in journalism, that there is no such thing as a 'first annual.' It is not annual until the second gathering, or '2nd Annual.' Since you can make all the plans you want, doesn't mean it will be annual.

The proper term is inaugural. Other than that, I have no issues with the stuff portrayed in this strip. *G*
