This is absolutely great! I got a good chuckle out of it. I am curious as to what part of the pic is from Poser? Is it the dragons?

Thanks!!! all of the models are from Daz3d, and posed/exported out of Poser...imported into Bryce added plants. lights, and rendered.

Cool. When I have imported Poser figures into Bryce, the textures don't seem to transfer over very well. Do you import the textures as well or do you just texture them in Bryce? Just out of curiosity, what format do you export them out of Poser in?

that depends on which Bryce you have.. if you have Bryce5.5 you can use the DazStudio interface, load the models into DazStudio instead of Poser and then they import direcrtly into your scene in Bryce with textures and transparencies intact... However if you use Bryce5 or 4 usually obj files are best, although it will ask you to locate the textures, and then you have to do the transparency thing in Bryce.. lots of hassle,, best to use the newer 5.5 and DazStudio (free btw), I used Bryce3,4, and 5 and fought with textures all the way.. Bryce 5.5 has streamlined the process considerably and is being sold by DAZ3D ( who bought it out from Corel) super cheap as an upgrade.. they were even giving away Bryce5 for free there for a while... Bryce 6 should be out in the next 6 months or so and should be revamped considerably...

Thanks. I am using Bryce 5.0 and hence the texture hassel. I think I will probably just wait for version 6 to upgrade. Currently I usually do my background render in Bryce, put that background in poser, render my poser figure in front of that, and then cut out that figure and layer it in Paint shop pro over the original background, which is sharper than it is as a poser background. If I need to deal with shadows from the poser figure then I do a mask of it and import it as a picture into Bryce and do a spot render of that area to get the shadows and then layer that in with Paint shop pro. It is kind of a hassel, but I am used to it at this point and it works. Bryce is long overdue for a true upgrade and being that they are now owned by DAZ, I expect that poser integration with the new version will be dramatically improved. Well, you know what they say about necessity being the mother of invention, Bryce has always had it's limitations, so for those of us on limited budgets, creative workarounds have always been a part of the process. Thanks again for the response and info.

Cute and funny. And a neat background to it as well... with the dragon teeth shaped railing on the top... that's neat.
Yup, definitely dueling banjos... hilarious!
