Description
Mapleshade's mate spazzes at her after she accidentally drops her kits in the river.I made her mate resemble Crookedstar...one more reason why Mapleshade targeted him.

... Yes, yes he did, very much. He was the one who saved Mapleshade from drowning and then tried saving the kits afterward, the danger Mapleshade recklessly put them, in the first place. He didn't want to help her afterwards in camp, for that very reason, she was one of the main reasons all his kits were dead.

i like the fact that fans are arguing about how maple shade deserved to die(and her kits) while other people are saying she didn't and that reedshine and appledusk need's to rot in the dark forest. Personally i felt like she should've killed Reedshine and Appledusk. (This is my own opinion so please respect it as i don't want to argue.) Honestly however she did start killing because of her kits death which caused her to be in the dark forest. But honestly AppleDusk and Reedshine isn't the perfect couple and i felt like reedshine should've been killed instead of AppleDusk. But like i said this my own opinion.

No! That's so sad. Not her kits at least. Heck, I wouldn't even have wanted Brokenstar to die as a kit. We have no idea what babies will do. They deserve a chance. I wish Mapleshade had had a chance too. I wish her clan hadn't kicked her out. They could have at least kept her kits. My heart broke when I read her story.

i still think Mapleshade should just wait to when Reedshine has her kits and then kills them, Reedshine should know what is like to have her heart be ripped out of the chest, and what better why then to have her kits die,then she well know what Mapleshade had to go through, i know it is sad but i mean come on least face it, Appledusk has been a jerk to Mapleshade while his 'new' mate is also mean to her. Yes, I get, you dislike Reedshine and I think you've in your full right to not like her character. I certainly don't.
But doesn't mean she and her kids deserve to die! That's taking a litter far, don't you think? What happened to Mapleshade's kits was tragic. But that does not excuse for Mapleshade to go round killing other Queens and their entire litters just to make them feel the same pain as her. Reedshine may of acted 'bitchy' or whatever you want to call it, but she's innocent. She had nothing to do with the kits' deaths, she wasn't even there. Reedshine is just as much as victims as Mapleshade is, both she-cats being lied to and cheated on at the same time. And she's didn't even know about Mapleshade, from her viewpoint, Appledusk was completely open.
And of course, Reedshine isn't going to act kindly to Mapleshade. She's from an enemy Clan. And You can't expect someone to be frilled around the cat who your mate cheated on you with. Mapleshade has a right to dislike her, and so does Reedshine. And why the hell should kits have to die for their parent's romantic quarrels? That sounds like Ashfur.

i guess you do have a point, Reedshine didn't have anything to do with Mapleshade's kit's death, but in Mapleshade's mind, she did, now keep in mind that i never read Mapleshade's Vengeance, so i don't know for sure, but that is what Mapleshade thinks.

o.k. o.k. so i was wrong about Appledusk and Reedshine, as you were right about Reedshine and Mapleshade was they both are cheated on by the same cat, and kits who didn't even do anything shouldn't die over something their mother did, if anything, it was Oakstar, as he was the one who was exiled Mapleshade and her kits, in the first place, Ravenwing was only doing his job, Reedshine and Mapleshade are both cheated on by Appledusk, Reedshine didn't even do anything as she thinks Appledusk was open, i get the point, Reedshine and her kits shouldn't be the ones to die, and Appledusk isn't a jerk, Oakstar was the one who was the jerk to Mapleshade and her kits as he was the one who send kits away,as Mapleshade lied about her kits and saying that they are the kit's of his son who died by drowning.
