Here's someone I haven't drawn in a long while. Kind of nice to take a break from the ponies for a moment. Dodge Darem, a brave yet clumsy knight, gets ambushed by a nasty bird monster called the Ravenhorn. So named for the obvious horn that it has on it's head.

As nicely polished as the sketch looks and I do like how it turned out I feel like there are still a few things I could've done better. Like I should practice a bit more with bird wings so that they look more convincing. And while Dodge's pose is pretty nice because it fits the situation I still feel like that it's...lifeless. Stiff even with the use of the S-curve. Don't even get me started on the hands.

Maybe I'm being harsh on myself there but that's just something I was thinking while I was working along on this drawing. Overall I do think it came out pretty good. What do you folks think?
