You said this was a vent; may I inquire as to what you were venting about? Unlike most pieces of this type I see, the inspiration isn't clear, thought the concept itself is.

Mostly it's concept art for the story I have made for this character. But, also I was having many internal struggles and issues I was trying to overcome at the time I drew this. I could easily relate to my character's story through my own struggles. That's why I drew her.

Overwhelming. Veryy creepy. The one above his nose that appears to be spitting at him(? or perhaps that's a claw?) frightens me the most.

The mob of crows before her was supposed to make a face (with their rows of beaks making teeth), while the other crows sort of made massive hands, as if about to embrace her. However, these were not supposed to be ultra super obvious at all.

Ohh I see it! Okay, I totally understand. Very clever. Probably would've been easier to understand(though difficult) if the it was all a solid color? Hmm..
But I do love it :3

yeah, but I also wanted it to be more obvious that they were crows.
The fact that they are crows is more important than what shape they make. So, I'm happy with it the way it is
