We Greeks, have a greek-italian saying a bout you Italians…: "Una Fazza, Una Razza" which basicaly means one face, one race. because we are so alike!

When I saw the people in Italy I felt like I was home. Italy is a lot like Greece actually, only much more taken care of… You love your cities much more than we do....

O__O honestly, i think we don't give our cities the respect they deserve...
maybe for art-lovers the attention paid is always too little.

I live in Athens, but I would definitely tell you to avoid it if you ever visit Greece… Northern areas are much more beautiful, and of course the Islands

Skipping Athens like, arriving to the national airport, go the the Acropolis Museum, which is the only new, modern and interesting thing to do here, and then go straight to the harbor to go to an island... Or take a car and drive north.

In Greece you'll will hate the cities, but you'll love the Islands

Yes they are... The ancient ruins in Athens are quite fascinating, but when you want to see real beauty you will want to see northern villages or Ionian islands.. That's what you'll remember most
