This is my finished Donatello cosplay for Amazing Arizona Comicon
Kevin Eastman was there and he LOVED my costume!!! I'm so proud of it, but it was a pain to move in, worth all the pain!

WOW. That's amazing! I never really considered a cosplay of the 2014 turtles- and if I had, I would have imagined it would look really dodgy and creepy. But you make it work! Great job

Wow, awesome work! I love all the detail you put into it! I haven't yet seen the new movie, but I love the turtles' designs for it. How long did this take to make? Are you wearing any face prosthetics or is that just face paint?

Great job. Is latex easy to work with? I got myself a bottle of liquid latex a while ago, but I haven't been brave enough to do anything with it.

I'm not certain because I have never used latex myself. This was my first time wearing a latex mask and my friend invited me over to create my mold and learn to fill it with cement. Then I got to help make the clay mold for the latex to be poured over. I didn't get to see how it was done after I helped with the clay. But its a touchy material sometimes according to my friend and you have to make sure you pour enough to make the latex strong.

I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of the TMNT 2014-movie, but I AM however a huge fan of good craftmanship and cosplays.
And this work is nothing less than incredible!!

It was 3 months of work and it is a nightmare to get on and off XD But its worth the pain! Most of it was made out of foam and leather and old spare parts. XD I'm especially proud of it! Thank you!

Dayum! I'll bet it wasn't only a pain to move in, but a challenge to get in and out of as well. It looks incredible though.
