Inspiration: Natsume from the "Deca Dence" anime (2020)

Finally, an original piece that I didn't copy anyone's literal linework for! I knew the artist in me would never let me live life without making a good piece of my own art work. I started this from a paper sketch, so I was really glad to find that both the sketch and the final product all turned out so well!

I worked on this for essentially two days, and it's super satisfying to see how this turned out so well. It was quite the trip, and I learned a lot.
This is my first time working with metals and liquids in general, and I'm so glad that they look so cool and decently realistic!!! <3
The texture and general artistic touches look so clean yet expressive! I'm so glad this turned out a lot better than I expected since I'm used to drawing absolute crap digitally.
Although I did draw Natsume a lot older than what she actually is (probably 12 years old), so this is an older version of her anyways because I didn't want to redraw stuff.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the one person who appreciates this piece for like a few hours straight. (I've already set it as my wallpaper LMAO)
I'm still learning a lot about Photoshop, streamlining my process, and improving my general art skills. Honestly, I have a feeling I won't be able to go back to real traditional art after all this.

Please let me know if you have any comments or critiques on this. I look forward to see what I can do to improve!
