Dear Diary,
It's been a year since I've been transported into this odd world. Nothing makes sense, but somehow, it does? It’s hard to explain with words. I still haven’t fully moved on, but this world is weirdly comforting. Everyone is usually on four legs when the norm back home was being a biped with the occasional shape shifter. Everything seems so… magical. Even more than back home.

I’ve only made one friend over the course of this year, which is quite sad for someone like me. His name is Ferris, odd looking fellow. He’s bright pink, has misty ears and wings? Well, he’s certainly not the weirdest thing I’ve seen. Ferris’ pretty nice, he’s optimistic, funny and really caring. But I guess I’m kind of his mom now? I’m not sure.

Anyway, the strangest thing that I’ve encountered was, well, myself. Technically it’s everyone, but mostly myself. I’m able to change what I look like overnight? Sometimes during the day! Yesterday I only had a small tuft of hair but now I have long locks! This is really concerning. How is this happening?? But hold on, it gets weirder. I once saw an “auri” (that’s what they’re called apparently) starting a bon fire, and afterwards they magically sprouted imp ears! Like some kind of… mission? In order to change your appearance?

However, I’m really excited to learn magic here! I’ve heard a lot of stories about Aurillions using magical elemental powers for stuff, so I’m waiting until I’m able to! I’m not sure what’s stopping me, but there just isn’t enough resources to learn it?

I kind of miss home, I wish I could bring my friends to this universe. They’d love it here! I wonder if there’s someway I can bring them here…
