And, the world keeps turning…

Emissions-cutting efforts fall short at COP27

--------------------

People seem to forget that the planet doesn’t need people.

In fact, the history of life on Earth is far older than humans.

At the rate we’re going, Human history will be very brief.

When my Mum used to drag my Dad to Environmental Health conferences, he often said that the problem was that the people with the power to actually make policies to reduce pollution and effect Climate Change don’t care.

Because they’ll be long gone after the full extent of the damage is known,

Leaving everyone else to deal with their mess.

[Something my Dad and older brother are expert at.]

The Fascinating History Behind Climate Change , from Today I Found Out

Scientists and industry have known for centuries about the dangers of industrial pollution;

And, for decades about the effects of carbon on Climate Change and Global Warming ;

And, here we are...

Politicians and businesses keep saying they’re going to do something;

But, it’s like The Shell Game , even when we try to pick what looks like the best option- there’s nothing there.

And, their promises of action on the environment and ecology are so diluted, we end up trying to drink the sand.
