I'm re reading American Sniper and had a little meltdown again. It's been four years since Chris Kyle was tragically killed and to be completely honest I've never gotten over his death. I have literally known Chris and his story since he publicated his book (thanks to my dad who got me into that kind of stuff). I've always admired him very deeply, I still do. If you really want to comment something like "one veteran said that he was blah blah blah" or "he was a murderer", please don't unless you want me to block you. I won't tolerate people disrespecting a national hero, I don't even want to bother arguing with anybody. Please read the actual book. Thank you.
The fact that he had been to Iraq FOUR times, risking his life each time and how many of HIS people he actually saved should be enough to see that he was someone more than just a sniper. People like to focus on how many people he killed but they forget how many of American soldiers, Marines, SEALs he saved.
Chris suffered from mental disorders including anxiety and traumas. Every stay in Iraq costed him and his family a lot. He had more courage, passion and honour than most of us combined so please, don't be an ignorant asshole.
