Description This is another project for my illustration class - we had to do a visual pun, so mine was "thread bare/bear". Anyway, this was pretty fun, though very time consuming |3

Perhaps he's upset that one of his threads is loose!

MUST TOUCH. *pets thread bear* Hey, I can feel it just by looking at it! Sweet! Also loving the detail in the background. Soooo gooood. I have to go look up the phrase "thread bare" though... *is idiom ignorant*

Thankee'! Yeah, I just happened to hear the term used on a show after I got this assignment and was like "Hey, if I use that one I get to draw a bear! Woo!" It was quite lucky, as I don't think I would have thought of it otherwise X3

This is incredible, Camel! So clever and unique. All the little attention to detail! The basket texture, the thread that makes up the bear, the smoothness of the sewing machine, the jars in the backgorund, the thread in the bear's hands, the colors, all of it. @_@

Thanks! Yeah, the first project we did I made the mistake of picking a subject with all one texture - I was so sick of drawing fur by the time I got through. So this time I picked one I knew would have a lot of different textures to work with |3 Much more fun!

Wow! I love this! Even though the bear is clearly made of thread it still looks alive! I love the expression on its face.
