I like how you're not afraid to try out more underrated types of skies. Not every sky needs to be a bright blue.
It's not over the top. It could be a cloudy stuffy day, or the rains are soon
I like the varied colours for the sky, nothing special in particular, but I think it suits this setting and the characters well.
Also, the shading you've done is fluid and really gives things such as the clothing some weight. I really do love that inquisitive expression you gave Yamka. It's not too intrusive, but perhaps a little gentle.
I don't know how exactly you've done it, but it really does look like he has just turned his head towards her haha. That's awesome.
I really think that adds so much to this.

I know I saw the lineart of this earlier but I am still gonna leave a comment<3
I absolutely ADORE THIS

First off, I love the poses. You did very well on them and then really add a sense of atmosphere and depth. 
Even with just the poses alone like I saw in the lineart it created an atmosphere and that's GREAT and takes a lot of talent to do. 
Second.... Yamka's expression!!! You somehow nailed her very complex personality and relation to Calkai in one glance: annoyed easily by his unresponsiveness, but also very curious, finds it very amusing how un-sociable he is and likes to take advantage of his naivety.

and almost nurturing in a way as their relationship does develop.

This looks like a scene straight out of a comic- like she just plopped down beside him and is questioning him seriously rather than picking fun at him or berating him for once- and he's surprised by this development, turns to her and stares for a while, realizing he doesn't want to just push her away like he has everyone else and that he wants to try to communicate. Yamka in turn also realizes Calkai isn't like other guys she has been with and she has to treat him differently. She starts to fall in love with his quietness and gentleness, which she had always believed to be a weakness in men. 

And I got all that emotion just from Calkai's simple frown and Yamka's seductive face. And Calkai is wearing a mask so that is an added challenge to express emotion! So well done <3

The colors are very muted and really suit their story tones. It feels homey and the background makes me think they are sitting by a river or something. The shading and lighting makes me think it's almost sunset or a really cloudy day. (By the way, I LOVE THE SKY!!)

I'm glad you like Yamka's young design and it makes me feel like maybe she should pull her hair up as an older adult sometimes as well <3
she really works in your style and the outfit is just 10/10 gorgeous the way you drew it. She's a total babe, but a very minimalistic one and you really pulled that theme off.

I really love Calkai here. His pose is very organic. He looks relaxed and chill, and it reminds me he is a male... not some robot LOL
But he's ever so subtlety vulnerable too. You can really feel the sexual tension and nervousness between them. 

So overall VERY NICE atmosphere and it has a lot of great direction. You portray them so well!! And all the subtleties are FANTASTIC and it's really fun to pick this picture apart and appreciate every little bit<3  Makes me eager to write about them and draw them!!!
