"Well, i have never really liked copying from photographs or any other stuff. Actually, i had never done anything such as that until college and i hated the damn observation classes (thank god they're over). Not only that, those classes were kind of an artistic block for me, since i couldn't put myself to drawing what i liked to draw while i had them. "
---------------------------------------- I sign this statement.
However, this is a good choice and excellent execution.

I know exactly what you mean, I drew from photos for many years of my life and loved it, when I started college was when I started to free myself up a bit and let my imagination run wild. The photos were the only teachers I had, I learned all the basics I needed to know through drawing from photos and life so I still love it but I understand that there is a different kind of freedom to just using your imagination.

It's funny because I'm quite the opposite I find my artistic freedom through observation (knowing that I can change it however I want does help) but I love drawing from photos and live models - and even though you don't like this honestly came out fantastic! Th highlights and the wrinkles are perfect!
