Starstruck and Lucky Ace (previously prophecy rune/ albedo ace) 2.0
I already like them a lot more and i feel like the change to their stories and personalities work so much more
also i'm a sucker for dark brooding character with a soft spot for a character they find annoying.

Starstruck is the dark, brooding, burnout older brother. As a young child and teen he was a gifted magic user, but lots of pressure was put on him by his teachers, peers and even Twilight his own mom. He ended up going to Celestia's gifted school for unicorns. He was so used to not needing to try when it came to magic but all the unicorns around him where naturally gifted too, so he actually had to work and get better. When he was struggling he stumbled into the wrong crowd and got into lots of trouble, let his grades slip and was kicked out of school and sent back home. His relationship with Twi quickly became strained and cold when she wanted him to try hard and couldn't see that he needed help. He's more of an outcast now, not many friends, not any real ones anyway. He still has a soft spot for a few ponies like his younger sister and momma Trixie.

Lucky Ace is the younger energetic, smart annoying sister. She's smart and not afraid to show it, as a kid she participated in lots of hobbies, sports and other activates, but her favorites were journalism and debate. She even started her own organization club. Even when no pony showed up that didn't stop her. She's a go-getter and wants to make the world a better place, especially for earthponies. She really felt the discrimination that earth ponies get when she was born to a family of powerful unicorns. she's working towards achieving her dream of going to Celestia's school for gifted unicorns, she's worked hard to become good at spellcasting and learning all about the history of magic. The only thing she can't seem to get her head around is friendship. She's very socially awkward and doesn't share the interest that a lot of the ponies her age have. Her brother is one of her only friends. Even if he always smells like leather and smoke, and teases the heck out of her, and aggravates her to no end she thinks the world of him, because she know she annoys him just as much, and he's always protected and taken care of her
