Wish I finished this before those Yi buffs happened, but I draw at a snailβs pace.But man, when the changes came, I was actually embarrassed at these typical noob Yi failures that I had thought I had ironed out last February. Pretty wild.

Hm, I had the idea jungle became easier. But I can see why some people find it harder to jungle nowadays.

It depends which champions, and which items and path to start the jungle with.

Meh, current Yi is more RNG then actual jungling.
It all depends on the 50% proc on his Alpha Strike.
Get a bit lucky and even a noob Yi can clear the jungle now.

Well, before it was 20%. 20% per minion. Every time I jungle I sacrifice lambs to the RNG gods. 50% is much, much better.

I do (been playing a mean Vi), but Yi's my favorite. And the recent buff he got made me jungle a lot faster than I did back in season 2.

Heh, I'm just too busy to learn a lot of champions, so I own champions I'm really good at; and just do reviews of the rest via free weeks, so I know how to beat them. :>

I have a certain selection that I'm really good at, but for almost all the champs I have a general idea of how to play em.

Lots of people had huge issues with the new jungle- it was pretty insane. xD Even my friends were saying that every jungler they saw without a machete would end up dying at golems.

Well, mostly because of the new leashing mechanic screwed a lot of junglers over. Now, I start at wraiths and ask for a bit of damage at red, instead of the typical leash (even though people forgot how jungle Yi works and tries to damage my wraiths even though I can clear half the camp in one alpha strike). After the buffs, my runes/masteries basically stayed the same.

Yeahhh and for the other junglers without RNG for instaclears, (and don't have insane massive early aoe damage like Shyvana for fast clears), I would worry about my "damagers" not doing enough damage, like just hitting it and walking away, beause then I would suffer later by either having to back before going through wolves, wraiths, red, then ganking, or I would have to use ALL of my potions by the time I get to red. Very very frustrating

There are still some that can do it, Amumu can actually clear with beads, charm and pots and do about as well as he does with the machete. It leads him to an early GP10 which isnt too bad but isnt really as common as it used to be anymore though.

It's more of those baddies who THINK they can do it without proper knowledge of actually being able to succeed at it xD
