started 'Owltober.' Draw an owl a day. Do it. As an exercise, for fun, and because owls are clearly fantastic, even if they can't move their eyes.[link]

Very true! There pupils and eyes are set in place, and they have to move their entire head to change the field of vision. Also, they are extremely far-sighted, and almost blind up close. Huzzah!

Some are rounder, some flatter. It's a rounded lump with a smother plain on top, depending on the build, though some are very quite round.
