If you aint got soulthen your just a mindless automaton
wandering the earth
lost in the void that is existence
yearning for something real
to make you whole.
Rational goes out the window
as does the time
and everything just falls out of place
and there's no one to blame
but yourself.
Excuses, excuses
that's all I hear
and my dear, there is nothing left for you
so why do you persist?
why continue with this nothingness of a life?
Its because you cant stop
Self preservation overrides your suicidal agenda
you cant leap tall buildings in a single bound
only off of them.
But I digress
I have things to do my dear
and the music will continue flowing
for I have soul and it connects with others
through the rhythm and beat
and carries on in the distant nether.
So long as that music keeps playing
I will never die.
