2014
USS San Diego (CL 53) was the second most decorated ship of WWII. She was also the first Allied ship to arrive in Japan after Japanese capitulation of the war. Here she is pictured transiting Sagami Wan (Sagami Bay) on her way to dock in Yokosuka with Mount Fuji towering in the background.
