Well I have a theory on why she does this if you want to hear it? But then again I could be wrong but it makes sense (To me and my friend at least...)

My theory is that April didn't touch Casey because he was unconscious and she wasn't with him when he was threw off the building so she doesn't know how serious his injuries are and if she touches him she could makes it worse. With Donnie she saw what happened so she knew how serious his injuries were so she got the ice pack to prevent more injuries. I think she doesn't likeΒ one more than the other as this was her way of making sure they didn't get hurt further. Just my theory...

these pics are from 14 episodes after first meeting Casey and 4 episodes after meeting Donnie, and at that time Casey has saved her more than donnie had, and asked her about a real date 4 times.

Because Donnie meets April on the FIRST episode.. and saved her there... TWICE (first meeting then helicopter fall).

I think you might be misunderstanding me. the picture on the left is season 2 episode 19, which is 14 episodes after she first met casey and the picture on the right is season 1 episode 7, which is 5 episodes after meeting Donnie. If you compare that Casey with that Donatello, by "the wrath of tigerclaw" casey saved April from Mutagen Man, Footbots, mutant rats, and stalled the krang worm. And Donnie saved her twice in the pilot and once in this episode from dr. rockwell. So unless April's powers let her see all the times Donnie would eventually save her, she should show more concern over Casey.

It depends on what you count as "saved".
Donnie ultimately froze Mutagen man, thus saving April.
Donnie also saved April a few times during the rat invasion episode... and from footbots too.
Donnie also fixed the portal that sent the worm out and other things in that episode.
and I understand, you really want CAPRIL to happen again and you dig Casey.
but in that image... Donnie does not appear as damaged as Casey.. hence why he helps Donnie with a simple bag of ice.
Casey would require real medical attention.

Hold on, what makes you think I want Capril? My whole point was that when someone you love is hurt, people tend to want to touch them to prove that their safe and still here. And despite Casey saving her multiple times and showing an interest, she doesn't feel that impulse, but she does with Donnie after just a short amount of time.

idk. All I know is, is that Donnie obviously loves April for who she is, not like Casey likes her just because how pretty she is. Don does a lot more for her than people realize.

Agree with you. But in the last episode. Casey LOVES to pest April, but he really seems to care (and listen to her).
So they (the writers) are really pushing for a triangle.
I wonder how long until April will be forced to have to choose.
One thing I found interesting is.. Kirby seems to loathe Casey. He trusted Donnie and he had no time to help April.. and then Kirby lashed on him.
So unsure if that will affect the outcome.

Well.... I guess there is the possibility she may not choose either of them. That will defentally be the outcome if they (Casey) forces her to choose between one of them. But if we add up everything April has.......done to them. Like kisses/affection, she kisses Donne repeatidly, even on the lips at one point, and calls Donnie her mutant (wrong he's mine) And hasn't showed and affection towards Casey. Only hugs, and she only does that at times when he comes back from deathΒ experiences so...... about twice she has hugged him?
All I'm trying to say is, is that in my opinion, April cares for Donnie the most. He's done a lot more for her then Casey has. Donnie saved her countless of times, saved her father three times, stayed up hours on end with out sleep just to make the retro mutagen to save her dad. All Casey did was save her.. what like once, maybe twice?

she still has smiled, winked and directed her view at Casey many times. but It seems she is in sort of denial to Casey...
No "body" affect to Casey.. but she does show this with Donnie (touching, holding hands, hugging, kissing)
