Well, i've done it. I've used up all the extra pages in my student planner...(the rest are reserved for actual use, i.e. writing done hw). So sadly, i must use binder paper from now on. But! My friend got me a sketchbook for my belated bday present(which was extremely nice, i owe her a picture now), so really, I should be using that... but im afraid I'll mess up in it, and then i'll tear out a page, and I'll do that over and over till the sketchbook has like 3 pages in it(which is what usually happens to my sketchbooks). dood i have that same phobia of using sketchbooks. cuz the paper is so nice and thick, it's almost initimidating to use it. haha feels like whatever goes on the sketchbook is supposed to be a beautiful masterpiece of some sort. which is like virtually unachievable with my lack of patience and time.

hey! i've seen a lot of your sketches! and i tell ya all of them are AWESOME!! but i never bother to comment since i'm pretty sure people will do that... and keep repeating how awesome you are might bore you... so i just kept on watching your sketches until i've anything to ask... and uh, now i finally got something to ask, i'll ask.. lol
what media do you use for the sketches? charcoals? color pencils? basically because your sketches look like they've been inked... and well-shaded! i'm soooo into looking at your sketches unlike mine! you're cool!
oh, sorry if i ask something stupid, i'm not bright enough... lol

hehe, thank you for your comment. I used good o regular mechanical pencils. I have 0.7 and 0.5 lead pencils, but i just use whatever i grab out of my backpack. i used photoshop to adjust levels(because sometimes the scan makes the lines too light, i can use levels to darken them) and hue/sat(making it have a brown tint, like in the picture above) of drawings tho

dude just use the sketchbooks. They're not meant to be perfect... they're meant to just document your day and have notes in. For practice and experimentation. If you're gonna do something professionally or a commission then you might want to do it digitally or on a seperate sheet of paper... But yeah all the pages of my sketchbook, front and back, are just that: Sketches and doodles during class. I actually do some classwork that I don't need to turn in or anything sometimes in them. Scratch paper kinds of stuff.
But yeah... I heart my sketchbook.. carry it everywhere :3

I just leave the drawings in there and never look at book again, most of the time. That's why I have a lot of sketch books with a bunch of paper I haven't used.

i dont worry much about my scetch book paper i have five books empty right now and one with like 10 pages, rest ripped out. but great drawing. i'll have to add to favorites

If I fail to draw good pictures in a sketch book I blame it on negative vibes from the tree it was made from and through the whole thing to the bottom of the pile.
What I do now is to buy huge wads of cheep printing paper and draw on that.
I'm loving these sketches! So much so, that they've inspired me to do some pencil work in a similar style (go see my gallery if you would be so kind ^^ ), so I offer you a million thanks for breaking my artistic block! I'll start with a

lol, i love your idea that it's the " negative vibes from the tree it was made from"'s fault. as for the whether i'll make a tutorial on how to draw hair...im not sure if i'd be able to! not that i wouldn't want to or wouldn't have time to, but im not even sure how i would do it. i don't really have a set way of drawing hair(that im concious of anyway)...hmm, next time i draw hair i'll try to remember wut steps i took maybe. (>o<

it happens to all of us, i hate having crap in my sketchbook... most of the time i tear it up but some times i leave to add to it later or something.

wow its so nice! XD I have the same problem as you.. i usualy rip papers if i have a sketchbook because i want to keep just the kawaii ones.. I usually do my stuff on school paper or not blanc paper and leave a lot of unfinished sketches lying around everywhere round the house or in my locker
