what the fuck even happened to undertale. it was a cute little indie game and the fanbase ruined it. same with cuphead. good game, DISGUSTING fanbase.

I don't even see what's making you say that here. It's not like this comic is particularly disgusting, plus the undertale fanbase is not that bad, there's a lot of good fanmade songs, battles, comics and all. The "disgusting things" (like the porns, for exemple, but some peoples like it and I don't really care about that kind of stuffs) are just very little and insignificant in comparison. I don't see the problem at extend the universe of a game we love from the moment it's still coherent and well done, even if it's not canon, and nobody is trying to make there creations canon because nobody care about it being "real" or not.
Seriously, undertale fanbase is GREAT !! It has so much good things but of course, the only things other peoples see is the "bad" things, or more like what they think are bad. There is absolutely NOTHING that ever ruined the game, stop being so ridiculously stupid, it's impossible ! The game is still the same, nothing has change in Undertale, the fandom just do things they like with it, by created fanarts or use the game as a base for their creations, and even more. And it's good ! I don't see anything bad with it, it's not like hackers will directly change the game and making it awful and disgusting, wich is totally impossible. But that would be a reason to say that "the game is ruined". The thing is, it will never happened, and fans will make this game live on with they creations. Without the fanbase, Undertale would have been forgotten right now.
Of course, there is a lot of Undertale OC, wich usually goes with the AUs, but what's wrong with that ? It does not affect directly the original game, and with the new universes, we can create even more things, like animations or comics, fun or sad, whatever we want ! Plus, the message of the game has not been forgotten neither. His story have created even more stories, and you might not like all of them, but saying the fanbase is "disgusting" for no reason is what's really disgusting.
You're insulting peoples without knowing them, because you don't like some things that are not representative of the entire fandom. Or because you just can't see good things when you see it, I don't know. Whatever.
I can understand what you see as "disgusting" in the fandom. Like, I saw a lot fanarts of Toriel or other female characters being overly sexualised, or comics with sexual content (with Undertale or the AUs), and it's not really my thing. But I'm sorry to say, it's not a fanbase problem. It's more like a society thing. These kind of things exist for everything and everywhere, not only Undertale, and even if I don't like it, I won't blame anyone and I'll just ignored it and focus on the things I like about the fandom. The things I think are more representative of the creativity and talents of the fans, and proves that we can make a lot of differents things with only one base, but still be original and good. Everyone has his own opinion, and if you really don't like anything about Undertale fanmades and his fanbase, it's no big deal. But, in that case... You don't like Undertale. I mean, sure you can like the game but not the AUs, but it's not the only things fans are doing with Undertale. There is comics and really good animations that are actually real scenes of the games, like the fight agains Undyne or Sans, and more. There even is a beautiful short animation about Undyne and Alphys, wich is made by a FAN, so it is part of the fandom. But it's not bad just because it's fanmade.
Again, Undertale's fanbase is NOT "disgusting". It's creative, lovely, beautiful at times, but not disgusting. There are disgusting fans, but so have all the others fandoms, this game is not the only one. There is assholes, but they are everywhere too, it's not an excuses for insultings the works of peoples who actually love the show and paid homage to it by creating actually great things. Not because all of the fanmades don't have the same ambiance of the original game, mean that they are bad. It's just different, there is nothing wrong with it. You may not like it, but it's just your own opinion. And I don't think you have the right to insult people just because you don't like what they like. I didn't insult the persons who draw porns with Undertale or Au's characters, because it's their lives and they do whatever they want as long as it do not attack someone. Plus they won't share it in public medias without proper precautions (because of the youngest), it's not like they will impose their work to every persons they can, no, they're just in their corner minding their own business. So I don't see anything horrible with it.
I know this comment is kinda old, but I wanted to share my opinion anyway. Because I am very tired of seing people insulting every fandoms they can just because of some idiots fans who do bad things, or because of some porns. Stop focus on the bad parts, there will always be "bad" things in a fandom or anywhere else !! But there is a lot of good things too. Isn't it more important to focus on ?
Whatever, you still can hate the fanbase. But don't insult it just because of that.
