Personality: Kuraiya is a kind well-mannered girl who is outgoing, a bit soft-spoken and affectionate. She's awfully nice, fiercely loyal and trustworthy. She is also very protective and has an innocent aura...She's also quite wise for her age, having traveled the world a lot in her time, but she can be silly...XD Not to mention she is terribly curious and a hopeless romantic...

Despite being treated cruelly by humans, she doesn't hate them as she witnessed their compassion and kindness. As such, she doesn't keep grudges, and is quite forgiving and understanding. Though, even as she appears to be sweet, and cuddle-worthy, when angered uses sarcasm a lot, is a bit selfish, and a tad bit pushy (she means well), but she tries to keep these negative qualities in check. Also, due to being disrespected by both humans and fellow creatures throughout her time, she's developed an inferiority complex.

History:

    Long ago, in the feudal era of Japan, Kuraiya was found as a small young kit by an elderly woman by the name of Chiyo who resided in the forest. A widow with no children, she took in Kuraiya as her own. Due to this, Chiyo was accused of housing a creature, and received much disrespect. She tried to keep it a secret from the young fox hybrid. As for Kuraiya, she was found while a group of children older than her threw stones at her, and ran back to the village to confirm the accusations of the little old woman. For a time, Kuraiya ran away (all the while harnessing her powers), and not being able to stand leaving her Granny Chiyo alone, she quickly returned, only to find that the villagers had murdered her, as they couldn't find her exact location within the forest before to commit the heinous deed. Kuraiya, enraged, lost control, and slaughtered the entire village. After snapping out of her trance, and finding herself in the middle of a massacre, she realized what she had done and resented herself even more. Soon remembering the words Chiyo told her about mankind, she quickly returned home, and used her foxfire to cremate her dear Grandmother. Remembering her wishes, she spread part of her ashes around her home, and at the lake, not too far away, where she met the love of her life (the little old woman spread half of her husband's ashes in the exact same place). She found the pendant that her grandmother had promised to give her and left Japan.

Despite leaving, she is widely known in Japan even in folklore as "The Wild Horned Fox" and as for her destruction left them to call the incident "The Nogitsune's Massacre."

    Kuraiya set out to explore the rest of the world, observing everything around her, and along the way, in Europe, ran into other creatures similar to her. She found that they had murdered a young woman, and unconsciously attacked the unknown creature. It was then that she realized even more that she wasn't completely a kitsune...Wanting to find out more, she visited a sorcerer who explained to her that she was a hybrid. Having lived in Japan himself, he described in detail what her other half was and taught her how to control her other side if it was to ever try and take over. Before leaving, the sorcerer asked Kuraiya for a favor, and she agreed. Knowing of her wandering nature, he gave her a potion that could possibly help her in times of danger (he’s pretty experimental with potions). He wanted to see its effects after working on it for ages, and unknowingly made her his test subject…After taking it, she thanked him and left, but being the curious fox she was, she decided to test it right there. Up in a ball of purple smoke, she was whisked away to a totally different dimension. After finding herself on the ground, she got up, and stumbled upon the Hiems Mansion…

   Abilities

She is very nimble, and fast due to her being a kitsune, but has a blind spot because of her hair covering her eye. Besides that, she has the same vulnerabilities of a human being, although having quite a good amount of Stamina and fast reflexes…She does happen to know Martial Arts (she is very fluid with her movements), but doesn't like to fight much (resulting in her being much more defensive) unless it's to train or protect someone. Her only true means of defense possibly is her tails (but she’ll feel the pain later) and her kodachi. She’s still developing her powers, but has had hundreds of years of perfecting what she can do...(but it doesn't always go as she wants it). Being said, she hates two of her powers more than all the rest, and that's Chi Absorption and Psychometry.

Powers:

-Foxfire/Fire Manipulation – Can Manipulate fire, as well as conjure Fox Fire.
-Psychometry – Able to tell the past, present and future of someone she’s touched (mainly the past) and they've come quite frequently upon coming to the mansion. She's trying to find a way of controlling it.
-Illusion Manipulation – Can create and manipulate illusions.
-Flight – She can fly, but has a funny way of trying to make it look like her tails are rotating.
-Shapeshift - She can morph between human/fox/hybrid form at will.
-Chi Absorption - She hates this ability the most. She can suck the chi, or life energy, of out of anything, to strengthen her own, but it will weaken the victim, and can be fatal if she takes too much. Although, she can reverse this ability, giving her Chi to anyone, healing them of their ailment (it can be nonfatal), but the more fatal the wound, the more Chi she uses. If her Chi level reaches zero, she can die.

Oni: Even though she was given in detail the many abilities of Oni, she is not sure of the ones she possesses due to her being in no control of this side of her. Though, once unleashed, it can be noted that her strength and senses are enhanced and her bloodlust increases. As for her appearance, black markings completely engulf her body, her fangs protrude out of her mouth, her eyes have golden irises with blood red sclera, and lastly the Kodachi she carries transforms into a dark smoky blue flaming katana. She literally shows no mercy in this form.
*New!!! It appears that another personality of hers has control over this form, and can come out when the girl is overwhelmed by negative emotions.

Weaknesses:

-Too Cold/Too Hot weather - She feels considerably weak for some reason.
-Anything that overwhelms the senses - Anything that's too much will cause her to go dizzy and have serious migraines.
-Her tails - If pulled, can cause pain.
-Magical/Blessed Weapons -Despite being part Celestial Kitsune, she is still part Oni, a creature of the darkness. If she is injured by one of these or touches them, she will grow considerably weak.
-Exorcisms - The same as above, but she will become incapacitated.
-Overuse of any of her powers - If she does, she will be incapacitated, as they require chi, or spiritual energy.
-Gods - Being half Celestial Kitsune, she is somewhat under the influence of higher beings, and can be made to bend to their will if they have the authority.
-Low Chi Level - If her Chi is low, she will be quite worthless in a fight against anyone with magical prowess (Luckily, she meditates before she goes to bed. XD)
