This was one of my favorite entries for the MLPArena Photo Contest; the hairstyle challenge!
I wanted to recreate something akin to Marie Antoinette, in pony form (hence, the title), so I took a pony with incredibly frizzy hair (as Rainbow Flash is prone to) and pulled it back into a loose sort of bun with two ringlets framing her face. From there, I just built and added accessories onto it, and used powdered sugar to make her hair look more 'authentic'.
I originally wanted to build a tiny ship in her hair (as ladies of this period were rumored to), but I ended up scrapping that idea. If you're curious as to the accessories shown in this pic, I used:
2 Pixietails (of the LadyLovelyLocks brand)
10ish tiny silk flowers
5 tiny foam birds from Michael's
1 MLP crown (from the tarantula-lashes pony, LOL!)
1 faux-pearl bracelet (for her necklace)
1 white feather, also from Michael's
Overall, I'm VERY pleased with this piece, and I have the multitude of extra photos to prove it! XD
