Not yet an official Deviant Universe character! Right now this is just a design and concept I'm shopping around.Warclad is Hum's uncle. I invented Hum to be a villain for Lithia and so I invented Warclad to further flesh out Hum's backstory (and also I just kind of had this character design in my head and I wanted an excuse to include him).

Ah, I misinterpreted his powers. When it said "out of thin air," I assumed the scientific version of that: fusing hydrogen and other atoms in the air into carbon. The alternative scientific version is a variant of nuclear fission: stripping the equivalent of a tritium atom (one proton, one electron, and two neutrons) from the extremely plentiful nitrogen atoms in the air to create a supply of carbon-12 (6, each, of the above subatomic particles). Then there's the reverse process happening when he dismisses the carbon constructs...
I'll put away my nerd hat now, since his powers explicitly break the laws of physics.

I was originally gonna call him "Armorclad", but "Warclad" just kinda seemed to flow off the tongue easier.

So what are your plans for this guy?

Well, would think he'd get the pretty standard superhero fare.
At first he isn't trying to be a hero, he just wants to save his nephew from a life of villainy. But due to Hum's powers he really fast and hard to track. Hunting down Hum will lead him into fights with other villains. Eventually Warclad gets a reputation as a hero and so takes superheroing as a full-time job.
Warclad is also a father now and wants to be a good role-model. So I guess there's a lot of themes of family in his story.

I don't really have any plans for publishing anything yet.

Maybe he's a helper for Lithia and Y2K then since a young superhero team always need a timeless helper.
