LoL. This is great. Right the feeling I got from the game when your character is a female.

First of all, thanks for the extended comment!
But I can see where you're coming from. In the first game, you had these love interests that you could pursue. But in the second game, though the interest is there, you never really get the chance to return the interests that the other characters have. On the one hand, it really is too bad, but on the other hand I almost feel like it's better that way. I'm the type of guy that really appreciates well developed characters and plots and if you ask me, having the main character that falls in love with a member of their own crew through the course of an adventure feels a little too much like the first game. I don't want a game that follows the same formula as the last one. That's too predictable for me. The second KOTOR game did a wonderful job, I felt, of building up the story in a unique way that set itself apart from it's predecessor.
So while, yes, it's a little sad that you didn't get to have a happy couple at the conclusion of the game, not all stories can end with a 'happily ever after' and they don't all need to.
Just one man's opinion.

You're most welcome!
I absolutely agree with you. I prefer the story of KotOR II, it's more breathtaking I think. And it leaves a lot of space for the imagination to roam..
But in my opinion there could have been more dialogues (after all my favorite game is Baldur's Gate 2, which is made of 90% dialogues and 10% action! I don't care about graphics in games, I just like a good story, especially for an RPG.. Yes I know, I've been told a billion times to go grab a book and read.. lol).
One thing that was better in the first KotOR was that you could say things that would lead to funny dialogues, in the second game whatever you say they answer the same damn thing.
But there's more to dialogues than just romance, there can be friendship, or total hatred, the best dialogues are those that make you actually feel something, maybe feel that you're in the skin of your character, and to me dialogues that will make me laugh are even better than boring "I love you" dialogues. That's why I liked the relationship with Carth in the first game. Some of the dialogues were really funny.
The characters in KotOR II are all good (yes even Mical!! lol), they all have their own personality, their conflicts, I just wish Obsidian had developped them even more. Sometimes it really looks to me like they only developped Kreia fully.
I'd welcome a mod that would only add dialogues (not only romance dialogues though), heck I would even create it myself if I was capable of writing proper English!
Oh well.. I'm just a hopeless romantic anywayz, and a silly Atton fangirl, I just can't help but find his voice and his attitude smexeh! lol
(Sorry for my long comments.......... )

You know, you bring up an interesting point. That is, Brianna follows the male Exile. Personally, I like Brianna more than Mical. She kicks more ass than almost anyone else in the game (second only to Haanhar). And aside from that, I think her story is more interesting than Micals, in that she was an outcast amongst the handmaids and underappreciated until she joins the Exile and discovers her true strength.
However I feel that I must disagree with you. I find Atton's romantic interest in the female Exile more fun. Right off the bat he starts hitting on her (which makes for some funny dialogue) but then eventually learns to trust her and then really falls for her. And even though all his advances are in vain, with her help he learns to let go of his dark past gets a second chance to atone for his sins. In the end his life is better for having known her.
It was a tough decision for me, but I think that between the two (even though I hate not having Brianna) I like the female version of the Exile the best.

rofl, and I like it when Mical thinks Atton's freaking clueless. When they get that message for the Exile to go to the trap, and Atton say's sarcastically that's it's a good thing it's not a trap, and Mical says "No Atton, I think it is a trap." what the hell is that about!!!!
